Regardless of your fencing choice, its overall life-span can be shortened by rotten fence and gate posts.  A high quality fence panel or gate can easily be damaged beyond repair if the supporting posts rot and subsequently break. Even treated timber posts will eventually rot and then break at ground level after just a few years, however by using Postsaver Ground Line Sleeves, the life-span of your posts will dramatically increase, thus ultimately saving you money in the long term. 

These sleeves protect the most vulnerable part of the post. A thermoplastic sealant inner layer bonds to the timber and the outer barrier heat-shrinks tight, keeping moisture, oxygen and decay organisms out.

• 35 cm Regular sleeve with a 20-year Postsaver guarantee when correctly fitted to posts treated to Use Class 3 (UC3) or above.

Application is simple. Simply slip these sleeves onto your post to the required burial depth and then heat shrink them into place using a blow torch for 30 seconds. Please click here for guidance. The sleeve is applied to the post very quickly and easily prior to being put into the ground, and is then maintenance and hassle free, with no ongoing costs.

Supplied in packs of 10, these sleeves will fit a 100mm/4" half round post.

Planed posts take the nominal-size sleeve; it shrinks to fit.
