Our heavyweight raised bed kits are designed to be durable and long-lasting, harnessing the natural strength of oak which significantly outlasts softwood, including treated softwood like tanalised wood, by many years.

Each kit will contain all you need to put together a stylish and funtional raised garden bed, and you will get the following in each kit:

2400 x 1200 - Single Tier Components

  • 2 - 2400mm x 250mm x 70mm notched railway sleepers
  • 4 - 1200mm x 125mm x 70mm notched railway sleepers

2400 x 1200 - Two Tier Components

  • 6 - 2400mm x 250mm x 70mm notched railway sleepers
  • 4 - 1200mm x 125mm x 70mm notched railway sleepers

2400 x 1200 - Three Tier Components

  • 10 - 2400mm x 250mm x 70mm notched railway sleepers
  • 4 - 1200mm x 125mm x 70mm notched railway sleepers

We use New Untreated English Oak sleepers for these kits - and these will have some splits, knots and possibly a waney edge or two. Each raised bed kit is highly unique, and full of character.

The sleepers will have pieces cut out of either ends so they can be conveniently slot together without the need for fixings.
