Douglas Fir Softwood Pergola Rafter Rails - 200mm x 75mm

Our 200mm x 75mm rafter rails are made for pergolas that need to span further or carry more weight, such as shade sails, climbing plants or large open frames. They are cut from British-grown Douglas fir, a naturally durable softwood that weathers to a silver-grey if left untreated.

Lengths run from 1.8m to 7.2m. We can cut notches so the rails sit over the bearers, or leave them plain for you to cut on site. Each end comes in your choice of profile: square edged, chamfered, rounded, sleek, crescent or ornate. The profile does not change the price.

Sizes are nominal sawn sizes, and you should expect natural features such as knots, splits and some movement as the timber dries. Pair them with our 200mm x 75mm rafter bearers for a matching heavy-duty frame.
