  • A 5 m roll of Postsaver dual-layer heat-shrink wrap, 350 mm wide, for protecting timber posts at the ground line, where rot starts.
  • When heated, the inner sealant bonds to the timber and makes an air- and water-tight seal. The tough outer layer shrinks tight around the post.
  • Fits all post sizes and shapes. Use it for large or odd-sized posts, gate posts and structural timbers.
  • Coverage: fitted as a 350 mm band across the ground line, one roll does about five 225 mm posts or six 200 mm posts.
  • Fitting: staple the end to the post, wrap it round, staple again and cut to fit. Then heat-shrink with a blowtorch or a 2 kW+ hot air gun. On square posts, press the wrap down with a foam roller while it's warm.
  • Suitable for use with fence post concrete.
  • Guarantee: Postsaver gives a 20-year guarantee when it's correctly applied to posts treated to Use Class 4. The guarantee covers a replacement post and rot protector. It's provided by Postsaver to the customer and isn't transferable.
  • Price £27.49 ex VAT per roll.
