Treated Softwood Hand/Base Rail

Hand/Base Rails are one of the main structural elements of any balustrade. Our universal pressure treated softwood hand/base rails are made from green pressure treated softwood for protection against fungal decay and insect attack. Upon external exposure, the green colour slowly weathers to a warm, honey brown and in the longer term becomes a natural silver grey. Universal as they can be used as both a hand rail and a base rail, and moulded for an elegant finish, these rails are ideal for anyone looking for a balustrade that is not only aesthetically pleasing, but offers longevity. Includes free fillet.
