At UK Timber our solid wood doors are hand-crafted in the UK by expert joiners. This Victorian four panel door is made in solid American white oak. Construction: a solid frame of stiles and rails with a central mid rail and a central muntin, around four raised panels in a 2 x 2 layout.

  • Prestige range: 40 mm thick. Made from 20 mm boards: frame laminated from two 20 mm boards.
  • Like our European oak, American white oak is kiln dried to 10% moisture content, making the doors extremely stable and minimising any bowing or warping after installation. It combines traditional joinery with the natural strength, character and long-lasting durability of oak.
  • Character grade has more features such as knots and a larger sapwood allowance, all filled for a smooth finish; Prime grade has fewer knots and less sapwood for a cleaner look.
  • Interior use only: all our doors are made for internal use.
  • Every door is fully wrapped before dispatch.
  • Custom sizes: speak to our sales team at sales@uk-timber.co.uk or 01536 267107.
