European Oak Prestige Door Casing Set (42mm doors)

With stylish new doors, you won't want tired old linings to stand out like a sore thumb. Choosing solid European Oak door casings can help enhance the look of any doorway, especially when complete with Oak architraves and skirting boards. We have introduced these solid Oak door casing sets with a rebate for an integrated door stop, that boasts the same beautiful Oak grain finish as our doors, thus making it possible to give your linings and doors a matching finish.

The door casing sets are suitable for wall cavity or stud wall depths of 95 to 220 mm, and the single door set is suitable for a door opening of up to 2100mm high and 1000mm wide, and the double door lining set up to 2100mm high and 2100mm wide. This Prestige version is made for 42mm thick doors: each kit is a single solid piece, 32mm thick, with a 46mm wide and 12mm deep rebate that forms a built-in 12mm door stop.

Please select your chosen width in the dropdown box, widths over 138mm will be laminated from 2 or 3 pieces of oak to achieve the required stability.

The lining sets are supplied unfinished to provide you with the opportunity to add a personal touch and stain it to your preference. It is recommended to oil solid oak to enhance their overall appearance but also to give them a layer of protection against moisture absorption, spillages and scratches. Our recommendation for a natural, clear finish would be to use Treatex Hardwax Oil.
