Oak Hand/Base Rail

Our ready-made traditionally designed universal Oak Hand/Base Rails are grooved to fit our high quality Oak Chamfered Spindles for a quick and easy way to create your own balustrade for your decking project and include a fillet.

Made from a natural living product, these hand/base rails are subject to warping, surface cracks and splits. Upon exposure to the elements, your oak panel will also turn a beautiful silvery grey. Although no treatments are required, you can prolong the supplied colour of the oak and increase its protection from the elements by treating your panel with Treatex External Virgin Oak Oil and Treatex External Oak Protection, or these panels can be varnished, stained, painted or left in its natural state to suit your own style.
