Douglas Fir Straight Pergola Wind Brace

Made from untreated British grown Douglas fir, these straight wind braces add strength and rigidity to your pergola, fixed between post and beam.

• Striking colour variations from pinks and browns to creams, depending on which part of the tree it is cut from
• If left untreated, fades naturally to a silvery grey over time

There are some dark brown knots which can loosen as the wood dries. This occasionally results in resin patches that may ooze a little at first and sometimes during subsequent hot summers.

Available in the following sizes (length x width x thickness, mm). Lengths are measured long point to long point (tip to tip along the long edge).

• Heavy duty: 500 x 150 x 50, 600 x 150 x 50, 700 x 150 x 50, 800 x 150 x 50
• Super heavy: 500 x 200 x 75, 600 x 200 x 75, 700 x 200 x 75, 800 x 200 x 75

Our pergola kits use 600 mm braces on Standard and Heavy Duty and 700 mm on Super Heavy.
