WINDMILL FROM EUROPEAN OAK DECKING & AIR DRIED OAK BEAMS
IAC Construction in Kent have constructed this beautiful windmill deck supported by our Structural Air Dried Beams and finished with our high quality Hardwood European Oak Decking boards.
Oak decking is among the most popular choices with our customers due to it's natural beauty and durability without the need for treatment. Oak can be treated by using one of our Treatex oils primarily to protect the material from the suns UV rays, by treating it in this way the rich natural colours can be retained. If left untreated the material will change from light grey to dark grey over the passage of several decades, an equally sought after result.
Our Structural Air Dried Oak Beams are of the highest standard, dried in perfect conditions for several years to ensure that they have had the
time to adjust to the environment as much as possible to prevent further movement once they have been fitted and limit too much further movement. Air dried oak beams can be used for external structural purposes but can also be used internally, as they are more stable than fresh sawn alternatives.
