Timber Titan A2 (304) Stainless Steel Flat Head Annular Ring Nails

These nails are made from high-quality A2 (304 grade) Stainless Steel and are perfect for use in applications where high tannin content wood such as Oak or Western Red Cedar are used. Ideal for use with Roof Shingles, Shakes and Cladding.

Stainless steel is extremely corrosion resistant. It will not react with the tannins that are prevalent in some woods, primarily oak and western red cedar, preventing nasty black stains on the finished item. Stainless steel has a lot more "give" than carbon steel and will therefore be more forgiving on seasonal timber movements (shrinkage and expansion) because they can "give" a little with those seasonal movements.

Our Stainless Steel annular ring rails are ribbed along the entire shaft to help provide extra grip during insertion.
