Oak beams can also be graded according to BS5756 rules by one of our five on site Trada accredited graders. These grades include THA/TH1 and THB/TH2. For more information, please click here

If no grade is selected we aim to cut all beams according THB or European QP1 rules which is a good structural grade wherever possible. If certification is required then the relevant grade should be selected using the dropdown. On most occasions and unless specified by a structural engineer, grading is not essential.
