Quercus Premium Heavy European Oak Decking

Our fully air-dried, stable state European Oak Decking has been carefully machined to a 26mm thickness to not only maintain the character that European Oak provides, but to ensure serious solidity to an already beautiful, resilient domestic hardwood.

Oak being the most durable of European hardwoods, your decking will require no treatment once laid, however most customers choose to apply a coat of decking oil to prolong the initial colour and the character of the oak. If not treated, it will become a beautiful silver/grey colour once weathered. Taking good care of wood in exterior applications is of paramount importance as it not only provides protection to your decking but it will also enhance its natural beauty and feel. By protecting it from the elements you'll also be increasing its resistance against rot, decay and insect attack. UK Timber works closely with the Treatex brand to provide you with a range of products that offer great value for money without compromising on effectiveness or quality.

Your decking boards can be either machined with a bevelled edge non-slip reversible profile or planed smooth for a more contemporary effect.

For those finishing touches, we also stock spindles, hand and base rails and ready made complete panels for speed and ease of fitting.
