UK Timber Ltd are pleased to introduce a new range of Thermowood timber cladding. Thermowood is ultra-heated treated timber that carries a 30 year guarantee against decay. In addition Thermowood is dimensionally very stable and will move very little even in the most severe applications. We now carry stocks of both radiata pine Thermowood and Nordic softwood Thermowood, Radiata is very clear and knot free with a flowing, regular, contemporary looking grain pattern and is supplied unpainted. It requires no further treatment but will change colour with the effects of ultra violet radiation to a silvery grey. The Nordic softwood Thermowood has a little more character and a few more knots but is painted with a hugely hard wearing paint to RAL 9005 so increasing durability even further. Both products are outstandingly beautiful and regular in appearance and machined in an exacting manner. For both external and internal timber cladding, Thermowood is a safe, beautiful and long lasting answer. Further information on the benefits of Thermowood and it's characteristics can be found here.
