Thermal treatment of the ThermoWood range provides the wood with an exceptional biological durability, its decay resistance class is I-II and its moisture content is half that of normal wood therefore surface splitting caused by UV-radiation will be less than that of untreated wood.
We are now offering Radiata pine softwood decking boards, supplied through an FSC accredited source. Combined with excellent durability and a stylish appearance our Curved ThermoWood decking boards will not only refresh your terrace with an exclusive natural wood appearance but also improve the performance of your terrace. The unique curved profile lengthens the lifespan of these profiled boards as water will not remain standing on the surface of the board.
The surface of these ThermoWood boards will turn grey over time due to the effects of UV-radiation (sunlight) if left unfinished. The beautiful brown surface colour can be retained by treating the boards with clear or tinted wood protecting wax or oil, which contains a UV filter. You will find a full range of exterior Treatex products here.
ThermoWood Decking comes with a 30 Year Guarantee against decay.
